Wheels 1

Toby Lyndon lost his legs and suffered a brain injury in a train accident. After recovering, he attempted to continue with his university studies in physics. Toby made a decision in 2016 to pack up all his belongings into his car and leave his living situation. For two years, Toby lived on and off in his car, travelling to all parts of Australia. Toby was determined to do this independently.

Toby came to Canberra, Australia in May 2018 with the intention to train to compete in triathlons. Toby has been training at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS). In order to compete in this specialist field, Toby requires a customised wheelchair to suit his need. This will help him to effectively compete in the “running” section of the competition.

Our goal was to raise funds to help fund Toby a customised wheelchair so he could achieve his sporting dreams.

We have an exciting announcement to make shortly. Please keep an eye out on our social media.
